The real winner of the Final Presidential debate between Trump and Clinton was: Chris Wallace, the moderator.
Previous moderators Lester B. Holt, Anderson Cooper, and Martha Raddatz failed in one important regard: they did not maintain control over the proceedings, which rapidly descended into a whimsical farce of personal attacks and unsubstantiated allegations.
Wallace, by contrast, held the Presidential candidates to the issues, and asked both sides difficult questions. He also has a clean crispy voice reminiscent of 1950s radio announcers.
So cheers to Chris Wallace.
Now, back to work. Enough of this diversion.
